This stand is very robust, and I have a feeling it is basically fused to my dashboard now because the base where the arm sits is very strong. The good thing about this arm is that you can take the end and attach another existing bracket to the ball at the end so you can use it for your phone; you will just need the end part that attaches to the ball. The materials are top-notch and it doesn't look cheap at all. The price is great too. Great buy.

The little socket that fits in the mounting socket somehow broke on my carplay mount, so it was just limp and pointing down. Wasn't sure how I was going to fix it and saw this! The mount went straight into the back of my carplay, super easily. Now I can see my screen and it stays in place!

This is a no-name product, to replace the suction base on my no-name Android Auto screen. There was a lot of blind faith going into this purchase. Luckily, it paid off, and this base fits exactly like the original did. It honestly feels a little better than the original, which is a bit of a low bar for a cheap product, but it feels sturdy, and holds my screen in place great.

I recently ordered a CarPlay screen that only included a sticky dashboard mount. I don’t want to put adhesive on my dashboard so I ordered this 1zero mount as it gave the option of either dash or windshield mount and also had the correct adapter for the unit. The unit is well constructed without any of the wiggle I’ve found in a couple of other windshield mounts I’ve used in the past. I especially like the clear film that you can apply to your windshield, which will help keep the unit attached during hot weather. I’m not a huge fan of how you adjust the arm, as it seems to put excessive strain on the ratchets and may strip them over time. I'll update this review if it becomes an issue.Overall I consider this an excellent product and recommended it to anyone needing an alternate way to mount their CarPlay / Android Auto device.

For the price, the 1Zero Replacement Suction Cup Car Mount is a pretty solid choice if you need a way to mount your portable CarPlay screen. The main highlight for me is just how versatile and easy it is to adjust…the one-handed operation and the ability to fine-tune the angle make it genuinely convenient for day-to-day use. It holds my CarPlay screen securely and really declutters my dashboard, especially when I use the windshield mount.I do wish it felt a little sturdier, particularly when it’s mounted on the dashboard using the sticky pad. It’s not wobbly to the point of being unusable, but you can tell it’s not quite as rock-solid as more expensive options. On glass, though, it’s much more secure, so if you have the option to mount it on your windshield, that’s where it shines.Even with that minor gripe, the value is hard to beat. Everything you need for setup comes in the package, and it does exactly what it promises. If you’re looking for an affordable and adjustable mount for your CarPlay screen and can live with it being just a little less sturdy on the dash, this is an easy recommendation.

This 1zero brand suction cup mount for your car portable screen is made from a very durable feeling ABS plastic. The screen they refer to in my case is a Android Auto car screen. The arm has an extendable inner arm that pulls out about 3 inches to give you almost 6 inches of reach from the base. The arm has very firm clicks and feels very strong. The base has a adhesive suction cup with a clamp down feature. The end of the arm has a rotating locking adapter that fits most standard car screens and is very sturdy. The arm can be rotated upwards and out and it has very strong clicking notches that allow multiple positions. I would definitely recommend this suction cup screen holder. It very durable and feels like a high quality product.

The mounting of the product is very well thought out. First, the manufacturer includes a disc with 3M adhesive to hold the suction mount on uneven or rougher surfaces. One of my other mounts occasionally comes off the dash so the disc is appreciated - especially in hot weather when the suction cup seems to pop off. Second, the manufacturers also include a clear film to put on the windscreen to help block UV rays that would eventually degrade the rubber suction cup. Smart. The arm itself is a little less remarkable, but still good quality with one exception. I do not like how the arm extends length (in and out). There is no lock as my other car mount has. If you push the arm it goes in and when you pull, it comes out. Therefore, when the screen falls off and you want to remount or you want to remove, the arm moves a lot making it challenging. No, I shouldnt do while driving, but it happens when the screen slips the lock tabs. There is a thumbscrew to lock the vertical, but I wish they would have added one for the extension of the arm. The detents seem sturdy enough that it won't move on its own, but its painful when removing and installing the screen. Why? I often park in places with higher crime risk and its better to remove the screen than replace door glass. Unscrewing the lock ring and pulling the ball out takes me back to the extension issue.Overall, its a decent unit and you will be satisfied if you arent having to frequently remove and reinstall the screen. Even then, it may not be an issue for you.

This car mount has been a pleasant surprise. I needed a way to securely mount my portable CarPlay screen without resorting to something bulky or permanently affixed to my car. The suction cup is genuinely impressive; it’s held up to some pretty intense summer heat and bumpy roads without budging, even on my somewhat textured dashboard (using the included sticky pad). The adjustment is also a real plus, that one-handed, no-tools system is fantastic. I can quickly change the angle to suit my vision, which is way more convenient than fussing with knobs or screws.
