It was a bright blue and not a dark blue as the picture showed.

I bought this product to replace a blue stripe on my boat that was previously applied using Avery Denison Super Cast 950. The Avery product was cast vinyl with a backer on the front and back of the vinyl to aid in installation. The 3M Scotch Cal is a poor substitute. Even after using Splash and trying the "curtain" method the 3M product was not fit to hold its edge true on a 30 foot boat. This product just does not work on bigger boats.

I ordered 2" blue tape to replace my old water line stripe, I've always used 3m products and have never had a problem, this roll is the 150' must have been cut off a larger roll and not even! The top edge looks like I finger painted it on, the bottom edge was straight as an arrow!! After all the time removing the old, the new looked worse!
