I’m using this to wash fruits and veg. I fill the bowl with warm soapy water and vinegar - and insert the colander portion - then put the fruit/veg in to soak.This has made cleaning fruit and veg a breeze!We’re living off grid while building housing and this honestly has been such a good addition to my outdoor kitchen (temporary) and it’ll end up in my built kitchen.It’s well made. I find it best to let them dry thoroughly before putting it all together and collapsing them, otherwise they form a seal and it’s a challenge to get them to break the suction.

I live and work at a remote Wildlife Sanctuary in the Rocky Mountains, at least an hour away from the nearest Laundromat, and while this set would be also great for food use - for me it’s become an indispensable addition to my clothes-washing/sanitizing process inbetween trips to town. I have another collapsible basin that I soak my base-layers in, and then I use this basin in multiple rounds to press the water and soap out of the clothing and rinse them.So far, the set has been very durable. If I can use it in the back country to squeeze dirt and sweat out of my socks, hats, gloves, and thermal base layers - then it’ll definitely hold up to home kitchen use.This would be great for RV campers or any sort of camping where you have limited space for either vegetable or clothes washing, and it is easy to collapse and stash in a backpack or cooking kit without adding significant weight or taking up too much space.

I was hoping to use these collapsible colanders on-the-go for washing dishes in my RV. Storage space is a most valuable commodity so the goal was to store these inside each other as shown in the photos and as they came in the package. While they do nest, they form a tight seal that makes it next to impossible to separate. Aside from that, they do their job really well. No leaks and are made of good quality plastic and rubber.

I really liked this product! This was something that I did not know I needed until I got one.We eat a lot of fruits, vegetables, and pasta, so this comes in very handy. The design is incredibly practical, allowing us to wash and drain our produce and pasta efficiently. One of the best features is that it folds up small, so it doesn't take up too much space in our kitchen. This is perfect for our limited storage and keeps our countertops clutter-free. This collapsible washing basin is a handy addition to my kitchen, but it’s not without a few challenges. The first time I tried to separate the basin for use, it was really difficult—I had to use quite a bit of force to get it apart. Once it’s set up, though, it’s very practical for washing fruits and vegetables. I was pleasantly surprised to find that it held up perfectly fine in the dishwasher, making cleanup easy. Its compact, foldable design saves a lot of space in my cabinets, and the dual function as a basin and strainer is a bonus. Overall, it’s a great product, but the initial setup could definitely be easier.
