It is exactly what I needed to hook up my hose reel. The short hose it come with a hose reel what is undersize I am not long enough. I ordered a three-quarter inch hose by 6 feet in the house after work perfect.

I purchased this item to modify it as a thread guard on my garden hoses. You know how the threads on the end of the hose get destroyed after repeated drops on the ground? I just drilled out the cap end of these caps to fabricate a cover for the threads. Works great!
