Garbage replacement bulbs. Put a new one in and within a week algae bloom exploded. Have had pond for 5 years and these bulbs do not work.

The sight glass on my UV lamp greened over. so I bought these.The final diagnosis (maybe), the water flow was to fast.I changed to a partial flow system and it's improving. Plus, I have a spare bulb for next year.

Bought the two pack thinking I would save money by having one on hand for next season. Turns out I needed the second one immediately. They are individually packaged in corrugated paperboard, but are so tightly glued that I cracked the glass bulb trying to remove the first one, rendering it "blown". I was extremely careful on the second one and have a functional UV unit again.

The quartz glass is a bit janky on the tip, bit the filaments seem secure. I just received them so I haven't had much time with them, but they look fine. I'll update in a couple of months if something changes.

This bulb for perfectly and is working just as expected. It's so much less expensive than the name brand one that didn't last 2 weeks.
