There's not much to say about ball joints for a lawn tractor. Replacing worn ball joints makes a huge improvement in steering response. There's nothing that makes these stand out among mower ball joints to me, but the price is fair and they fit the standard MTD threads (and MTD makes a lot of the brands of mowers out there). No ball joint is going to last you for a super long time, so why spend more on the name brand stuff? These will get the job done.

Quality and fit is perfectly fine for the price. Bought these for a 1978 Kitty Cat kids snowmobile restoration as they are a direct fit for the steering tie rods Arctic Cat used on those. Perfect fit and costs $17 rather than the $100 it costs for the Arctic Cat part number.

These are 3/8 RH fine thread, they are a lot less expensive than OEM and fits lots of mowers including my older 129 Cub Cadet. Fits and works great.
