This looks the part but is much flimsier / weaker than the original. It also comes loose on my bag w gear.

For the last few years, I seem to have had some affection for Canon’s older Rebel cameras. I had purchased a T5i and a T8i but recently obtained the T4i and SL1. The last two cameras were bought used, but one did not come with an eyecup. When reviewing this ad, it reminded me of that need for the eyecup. Upon receipt, I tried it out on the T4i and found the old one was almost ready to come apart. I found that this replacement cup fitted and felt like the original. The rubber was soft and not rigid like plastic. I’m glad that the package included two eyecups, as the other one will go on my SL1.Keep in mind that as these cameras age, most eyecups will come to the point where they will needto be replaced.
