Deck Stain Brush. Good product.These deck stain brushes work great. The 2-pack with 60" extension pole is convenient - saves my back from bending.7-inch stain applicators hold plenty of stain, reducing dips back into the can.The included 3" paint brushes are a nice touch for cutting in edges. Can be easy to assemble and operate. Overall, good quality brushes that made my deck staining project easier. Functions well.

This kit is just what I need to refurbish my deck that I built in 2002. It desperately needed a good pressure washing and fresh stain. The big brush was very easy to put together and, unlike several big brooms I have had, the brush stayed tightly on the handle. It did not turn around and around as I tested in on smooth and rough surfaces. When I first opened the large brush package, the brush did shed a lot. But after using it a while the shedding was minor and no problem at all. I did also use other brushes and tools, but this kit was the inspiration that got the job started and done. Every year as spring approached I promised myself that this was the year to work on the deck. Finally, 2025 was deck stain year!

2/6/25 This review is for Deck Stain Brush with Threaded Long Handle 7 Inch Deck Stain Applicator, 60" Extension Pole Deck Stain Applicator with 3" Paint Brushes Set for Painting Wood Deck, Masonry, Fence, Wall and Furniture. This stain brush is less exepensive than other options and the quality reflects that. We have a very large deck and we have used these types of brushes before. My hope was to do so this spring; however, the bristles on the large applicator are more not as dense or paintbrush like as those we used before and even just pulling lightly on them results in some shedding. I would be concerned that during the staining process these bristles would end up in the finish. The pole it comes with is sturdy and I do like that you can change the length of it to fit your needs. The pole will probably outlast the brush. It would work if you are staining/painting something you aren't super concerned about shedding. The rest of the included components, the paint brushes and the paint cleaning tool are fine, but don't really add to the value. It would be better to leave those out and improve the larger brush.

The deck stain applicator has a long and ergonomic handle, which help save the back and arm muscles when applying the stain, and capable of reaching distant areas effortlessly, especially when painting large surface areas. The 60” extension pole is another level up from this, and I do not need to use ladders to paint a tall surface as the extension pole makes it very easy to apply the stain during even reaching high areas.The included 3” brushes are designed well, with good paint balance on the surface which the brushes help to provide smooth surface and coverages. The head and brushes are both made of good quality material, this delivers a material that feels like it could handle tough, heavy usage and is easy to clean.It not only enriches the quality of my projects but also saves a great amount of time and efforts as a comparison to the previous method. Therefore, because of such exceptional functionality and durability, I would recommend this to do it yourself people as well as professional painters. Purchase these tools, and take your staining to an entirely new level, or that of a professional!

Pros- works fairly well for spreading deck stain after sprayingCons- It sheds- If you order the 2 pack it does not come with a 2nd handle and attachment for the 2nd brush.The larger brush sheds pretty badly.

I got this to help me stain a fence, a job that I've put off for too long. This brush made it much easier than doing it with a normal hand-brush. It certainly saved my back from an enormous amount of strain.Others have mentioned the shedding, and yes, I did notice some of those boar bristles coming off, but this didn't really bother me because I was only staining a fence at the end of my garden, not painting the roof of the Sistine chapel. If that is something that would bother you though, possibly consider other options.

We have a large deck and restaining it is usually a long process. This deck brush made a huge difference. You and use as many rods as you need and it's really nice that each one is sealed on the end. So when staining an area that is close or higher, you can remove rods to shorten it. It is really a good deck brush. I definitly recommend it. 2 thumbs up.
