Love these little windows. Took me 15 minutes to trace the black circle and mark the holes, cut the hole with a recip saw, drill the screw holes and tighten the screws.

Our 6 cats can now look out the door anytime the door is open and watch the world go by. Easy to install and easy to use..once in, the pets will be more into looking at the world from their vantage and no longer onto of the curtain rods, at least so far that is what mine do

our house is connected to the neighbor's house and our dogs love each other these are so useful and keeps the dogs happy.

It has been about 6 months since installing these. My medium, high energy dog loves them. The problem is the sun beating down on them weakened the plastic. I heard an odd crack sound today and glanced at my cameras just in time to see him escaping out of the hole. That's right, he ran at it to look out and it shattered. Had I not heard it, he would have been running all over the neighborhood terrorizing cats! I love the idea, but 6 months is not long for something to last. If your dog is high energy like mine, keep in mind that these WILL become brittle after extended exposure to sunlight. I am dissappointed.

I built a new 6’ board on board fence, replacing a 4’ picket fence. I bought some grills to put in for dog windows but my daughter pointed out the dog couldn’t see but what was directly in front of her. So bought these windows and she loves them. Great for our smaller dog.

So I like these. But the picture shows a ring on the face and a back ring opposite. It does not come with the back ring. Hardware mostly worked, but some was defective and I had to go out and get my own bolts. As at least one of them was not threaded correctly. The caps are handy, so your dog doesn’t gouge their eye out. But I had to trim the bolts in order for the nuts to fit Flush. Maybe intended for thicker wood slats? Not sure. Sniff holes nice touch. Main thing is I would really like to have the black ring for the backside to match the one in the front just like the blowup picture showing all the parts indicates.
