I had four of the 2.0 type of batteries for several Black and Decker tools and they have worked well, but the length of operation was getting shorter due to age. I got two of the 3.0 type and after charging them they work great and last as long as I need particularly with my weed wacker and surprisingly recharge quickly. If they last as long as the older models, I will be greatly pleased. The older ones still work, but I mainly use them in my cordless drill which they work in very well.

Probably not actually 3 amp hour, feel very similar in weight to the B&D 1.5 amp hour, but they are worth every penny compared to the brand name one. The power band lasts a lot longer than my old used B&D ones and they work great.
