I really like these, although I didn't use as a bird feeder, but as the center part of a trellis for a wisteria, since it was taller and better quality than a lot. We get a lot of wind, so have reinforced the bottom part into the ground with rebar, Have just reordered some more, so I'm pleased with these.

Support legs are hollow and just tap welded. So when you go to hammer them in the ground they break off. I tried a regular steel hammer and a rubber mallet. Same results. Even had pre wet the soil to soften it.

These ground hooks are absolutely wonderful! They look so nice because they're really pretty and added bonus, they're adjustable! Who thought it would be so difficult to find a tall hook? Up till I found these the only ones I could find were only 2-3 feet tall. I use them for hummingbird feeders so I can watch the hummingbirds through the window and the shorter hooks didn't bring them high enough to see them out the window. Not to mention they were so plain and nothing special. These hooks are made with a lovely design and you can make them pretty much as tall or short as you want. They are super well made with iron so they are strong and durable and even at the tallest height I never worry that they'll bend or tip. They have 5 forks to insert them into the ground with and they go deep enough to steady balance them. I'm thrilled to have found them. They achieve exactly what I wanted them to do and are durable and strong and they aren't expensive. I highly recommend them.

I got this 2-pack of 6ft shepherd’s hooks for my backyard, and they’ve been a fantastic addition. The height is perfect for hanging bird feeders, lanterns, or flower baskets, and they add a nice decorative touch to the garden. They were super easy to install – just push them into the ground and you're good to go. The metal feels strong and durable, even in windy weather, and they’ve held up great so far. Really happy with this purchase – great value for a 2-pack!

I love the convenience of shepherd hooks as you can hang things anywhere with them. One of my biggest issues though is with the one sided hook and one direction stakes they always lean on me. These work great as with 2 hooks you can balance them and the 5 stakes into the ground make them much more stable. The are not as heavy as I'd hoped but work fine as long as you don't try to put an excessive amount of weight on them. The are tall which I love it keeps cats from reaching birds etc. and I love that it is sections screwed together so if you want it shorter you just leave out a section. Overall these are great hooks and I'm really happy with them.
