Be aware that the quality of the hinge overall is good if not very good, but the hinge pin in one was cut and the slag on the ends is what is keeping it in. The other hinge pin is not captive so if you have a vertical application, you will likely have to stake the hinge so the pin stays in place. My pair may have been a factory defect that should have been identical but with one of each, it is hard to say. If they expect the slag to retain the pin, I would not say it is secured properly. A punch and decent sized hammer will fix it or I just weld a bead at the end of the pin on both sides and call it a day.
