Pass on these! The mounting portion of this clip (the part that mounts to the car body bracket) does not fit properly- it’s too small. This allows the entire clip to pull out of the car body hole when pulling the hood prop rod out of the clip. If you got stuck with this part and don’t want to hassle returning it, I suggest using some silicone adhesive to hold it in place.

It didn't fit securely on place. I put in replacement of my old one and it didn't seem to snap in securely. I move it around until it felt more secure. I thought that I would go and purchase one from the dealer and I am glad that I did. When I went to replace it it was barley in place. When I put in the dealer piece it snapped in securely. Be cautious if you are replacing this item for a 2013 Honda CRV

This is a crap product that doesn’t do or isn’t what it says it is. Simply doesn’t fit my 2012 CRV. It’s too small to properly clip into the body.
