...you will think I am a bit nuts, but if you are a dog lover you will understand. We have large dogs and one of them likes socks and shoes. We have learned to close the closet doors. We have learned to put underclothes in a closed hamper, not on the bathroom floor. I wear special shoes, and some are 'Inside Shoes' and some are 'Outside Shoes.' Perhaps you wear bedroom slippers only in the house. Thats the idea. However, I require a shoe with more support and cannot walk barefoot at all, so I even have sleeping shoes. I even have a very understanding companion. Some people sleep in socks because they have cold feet. I sleep in support sandals because I cannot walk barefoot. My feet are reconstructed with rods and screws and in one they took the achilles tendon, split it lengthwise, and used part of it to hold the foot together. And that one dog just loves my inside shoes. So I keep them under the bed and now they are in these for security. A great solution to a silly problem.
