La verdad que sus materiales no son los mejores y son para la Tacoma a partir del 2024. No me gusto mucho pero es mas una opinion personal.

Review Date: 03/15/2025Price when Ordered: $19.99*I ordered this product through the Amazon VINE program, so I did not pay, but I still take the price into consideration on my reviews.Overall Impression: I would never have bought these had I not gotten them for free through the Amazon Vine program. However, I do have these installed on my Toyota Tacoma TRD Sport, and I have to say they look pretty cool, and add something to my car when I get in and out. For that, I think that if you are in the market for something like this, then these are a good buy.Since I wasn't in the market, I have a couple things I don't like. 1st off, the instructions for how to use these, how they work and how to install them are almost completely useless. In fact, you can see everything you receive instruction wise in the photos on the Amazon listing. The pictures are too close up to tell where they were supposed to be installed, and you really just have to figure out how they work. I didn't know where to install the batteries, and it wasn't obvious. I had to use a pocket knife to pop off (what I assumed must be) the battery door. The final thing I don't like, is that there doesn't seem to be anywhere on Amazon that you can buy different "films." So if you wanted different pictures to project, tough luck. That is a missed opportunity, and would make these 100% more worth buying. What I liked is, that once I got them turned on, it became pretty obvious how to install them. Once installed, they project bright and crystal clear images onto the ground. They mostly turn on and off when they are supposed to. I like these more than I expected to.My Review Scale:5 Stars - Good product, something about it is better than I expected, would recommend.4 Stars - Good Product, with quality that I would expect. I would recommend.3 Stars - Decent Product, but there is something I don't like.2 Stars - Ok, but do not recommend1 Star- Do Not Buy

These puddle lights came with double sided tape that needs to be placed on the backside of the unit just right in order to assure it will adhere most effectively. Take care when doing so. I messed up the first application and had to reposition the tape- never a good thing. I had to look online for examples of how the devices should be placed on the vehicle door. I have a 2018 Tacoma. The box the devices come in have some instruction and photos, but it is not very clear what to do. Also, there is a second sticker that serves to assure that the device stays turned off when the vehicle door is closed. The second sticker is like a reflective surface that apparently reflects back to the device infrared light as an indicator to stay turned off. The reflective tape needs to be applied to the bottom door sill and line up with the underside of the puddle light device, in particular, the infrared detector.Installing everything was otherwise straight forward once you understand how the parts work. There is an on/off switch, so if you get no light when the door opens (in a dark place- it will not turn on in daylight), assure the on/off switch is on.Here's the problem I foresee. The devices are small, but they do protrude a bit and are positioned on the door where the driver or passenger may inadvertently "kick" the device and dislodge it. The double back tape is sticky, but an errant foot swipe will likely send the device flying off the door. Secondly, the puddle lights are mostly composed of plastic parts and a flimsy battery door. Once loaded with the 3 AAA batteries, which adds weight, should the device hit the hard ground it is likely to become damaged. What I am saying is that I foresee some of my clumsy friends, and my clumsy self, eventually breaking these puddle lights. Perhaps a slimmer footprint, better double back tape (though it stuck well, it's not the strongest bond), and a more durable shell is in order. They are not very expensive, so that is a plus.Lastly, the image that is projected is made by a removable insert. I could not find alternate image inserts anywhere that would work with these particular puddle lights. Having the option to swap out the projected images would have been another plus.
