The privacy screen part works well from the side keeps a bunch hidden. You do need to be directly in front of it to see what's on the screen. Blue light filter is good.

This product really provides some privacy, blue light filtering, it’s quick & easy to install. There are 2 installation methods to choose from: 1) Apply privacy filter directly to your monitor screen using the provided “stickers”. 2) Apply the provided plastic sticky guides on the sides & bottom of your monitor, then slide the privacy filter into place, so you can remove & reapply it whenever you want. It’s that simple! The seller provides a specific step-by-step instruction guide, with pictures for installing the privacy filter. It’s great that there’s a visual for each step should look throughout the installation process. Installation is quick (perhaps 1-5 minutes, depending on your level of understanding the instructions).Honestly, the seller does advise to measure your computer screen before purchasing this, but I didn’t think it was really necessary. Well, lesson learned, indeed! The 23” screen shield was too small for my PC monitor, but fits great on one of my work monitors (I have duel monitors). Now I’ll need purchase another 23” screen shield for my 2nd work monitor & a larger one for my PC monitor. I’ll definitely measure my monitor screen this time. Please don’t make the same mistake that I did (although it did sort of work out for me). This product does provide some much needed privacy of your PC or laptop screen from both side angles & even from the back, if at a particular distance. I did notice that it isn’t as effective though, if someone is peeking over your shoulder, right behind you. Also, it keeps your monitor screen protected from dust & whatever else (even fingerprints, if you have a touch screen like mine). I highly recommend this product!

This privacy screen is very effective. The screen works as designed, if you are not directly in front of it the view is blocked, and screen seems to be off. The monitor I installed this on is only about 18 inches away and if I am positioned a bit to the side the other side of the monitor will have a bit of a shadow. Easy fixed by moving more toward center. At a bit further back this is not an issue. The installation is pretty simple but has a couple different options with the double-sided tape or plastic side mounted tabs. I went with the blue covered double sided sticky tabs that stick on monitor and then the screen protector slicks to them. They are clear when blue cover is removed. The plastic tabs seem to need to be placed on the Montor bezel and the protector placed behind them. This is likely the better option if removal of protector is needed. The protector has its own protective sheets from the factory that are easily removed by the pull tabs for installation. The screen has a glossy appearance but looking from directly in front it does not seem to have reflection from other light sources. It has a slight tint to it that seems to help with contrast between light objects on the screen and is supposed to block blue light. The cost of this seems high but research shows it is pretty much in-line with other options. The size fit perfect for a 23 inch 16:9 screen. If you are looking for some of these privacy screens this one should be considered.

The privacy screen computer filter came with very minimal instructions. There were two tabs on each side that were not included in the instructions. By following the instructions on the label I added the double sided tape, only to realize the tab that said “remove after application” was not the same on the other side. As a result, my double sided tape was useless as the other tab was another screen remover. I understand keeping intact the integrity of the screen but when this is not included in the instructions I was annoyed to have wasted the tape included. The actually level of privacy is only okay. I could still see some things from the side views. It has helped some with glare. It seems sturdy enough, so I don’t feel like it’s going to get bent easily or tears somehow. Unfortunately, I measured my screen using my phone and when I got the screen protector, it didn’t cover the whole computer screen. I pulled out an actual tape measure, and it turns out the phone measurement was wrong, so that’s on me. But it’s a close enough fit that I’ll make do with it.

It is so hard to take a picture of this privacy screen on the computer. So the first picture is what it actually looks like. I used the floor as a background just so you can see its true color. The second picture is what it actually looks like to everyone except the person on the computer. My desktop has a glass screen. It covers the entire working screen on a Pavilion 23. It is anti glare when your working on your computer. When the computer is off it is shiny almost like a mirror. The privacy this screen has is so much better than what I had previously. What comes with the screens are microscopic sticky tabs and other ways for you to put in on. I only used two in the top corners and have no issues. It isn't a touch screen so I really don't need to clean it other then a dusting once a week. It is definitely worth the money.

So, it works well as a privacy filter and does reduce the viewing angles of your display. It also dims your screen a lot, as all privacy screens do. However, installation wasn't the easiest and I don't know if the adhesion will hold well over time.
