My wife stuck one of these behind the couch I sit on and I am really surprissed at how functional that space has become. I charge my laptop, my headphones and tablet there now. And I can put that stuff there when not using them which keeps them off the coffee table and out of the way. Visually this piece of furniture is bland but behind my couch, you don't see it so it doesn't need to be flashy, just functional. The USB plug ins are kind of a joke since they at max only put out ten watts. That works fine for my headphones but not at all for my laptop or tablet.

I was impressed by the quality and value of this pair of tables right out of the box. The components are solid, well packed to protect them from damage, and—at the price for each table as a set of two—a solid value. They are smaller than some other console tables though, so I recommend taking time to understand the dimensions and how the tables will look in your space, rather than relying on a gut feel from the illustrations, which can be misleading. If you have outlets hidden behind your seating, raising them to an accessible height is one of the major benefits of these tables, which can be thought of as an extension cord with an attached shelf: as a bonus you add USB-A and C ports to the two household outlets. It may not have been intentional, or at least not advertised, but you can build the framing with the outlet either to the right or to the left, so that a pair of tables can be set up with the outlets placed symmetrically. The instructions warn you to pay attention to the location of the pre-drilled holes in any case, as there are opportunities for misassembly as well as customization: leaving the fasteners slightly loose until final assembly is also an appropriate caution. Adjustable feet keep the tables stable and vertical when flush to a wall.Bottom line: these stable, economical and functional tables are an excellent product. They are also to be commended for one-piece shelves and cross-pieces. The recent trend has been to cut furniture up into ever shorter sections in order to keep the boxes small, and it's one I think should be resisted.

I have these set up in my guest room beneath the wall hung TV and it looks pretty great. I really like it's thin-ness and because of that it functions great for my guest room's needs. This table was easy to assemble and took about 40 minutes to build both. The hardware bags were labeled, and each screw came with 1 additional spare which is always a welcome for those "just-in-case" moments. None of the materials as far as I can tell had any imperfections. One of the tabletop boards was a tad bowed/concaved, but just barely. After screwing all the screws onto the metal frames, that issue was quickly fixed.Once built, the tables look great. Upon applying some pressure from top downward towards the ground, they feel strong and sturdy. The extra outlet and USB plugs are convenient to use and looks great on the tabletop. I don['t intend to secure them to the wall as this is in the guest room and I don't think any of my guests are the type of people that are at risk of tipping them over.Overall, this dual table set did a great job for meeting my needs. They look good, they're strong, and they're highly functional for my guest room needs. I recommend them 100%.

Very simple to put together, the outlets with the USB is great, however tables are somewhat flimsy. Should be another bar alongside the bottom but once it's pushed between a wall and the back of the couch it's ok...definitely look for something sturdier if your couch is not against a wall.

The only thing you will need to assemble this is a Philips screw driver.

The product looks as pictured and fits very nice behind our couch however the outlets don't work consistently even for low powered things like charging a phone.

This is a good console table, but there are a few caveats. The instructions and hardware don't include any way to connect them into a single table. I thought for sure there would be a few long through bolts for that purpose, but no. This isn't a dealbreaker, especially if you're going to place these between the wall and couch. I tide the legs together on mine using a few discretely placed, neatly clipped black zip ties, and that added a bit to the stability - not that it's an issue. Also, I thought that some cable management clips would have been nice. Again, black zip ties to the rescue. This would be a bigger issue if you're going to leave the table free standing behind a couch.I'm not sure I'd really trust this as a free-standing unit behind a couch, but that's a matter of opinion. It doesn't seem stable enough for my taste - though again, between a wall and couch that's not an issue. The built in chargers are nice, but if you're charging a higher powered USB device, you might still want to plug in a dedicated charger.Assembly:A hex key (and a spare) is included that you'll need for all of the bolts and screws on the console table with the exception of the screws to attach the charger in the surface and the wall-attachment kit. You will need a medium Philips screwdriver for the charger and you will need a drill with an appropriately sized bit (for your wall) if you choose to connect it. I didn't because it's already wedged between the sofa and wall - it's not going anywhere.A few spare screws and bolts of each type are included.None of the screws or bolts required great force to fasten. The holes were all aligned well, pre-drilled, and threaded properly where needed.

The wood part was labeled wrong. I didn’t realized it until Im on the last step to put in the power strip and there is no holes for the screw, but was on the other side where the stickers are labeled on it…supposedly that side was supposed to be the underside. Also, one of the leg, the screw knob to put under the legs did not screw in correctly. I gave up after trying for an hour and it wouldn’t screw in. I ended not using the screw knobs for the legs.
