They work, but the amount of light for a 100W bulb is less than the 65W equivalent LEDs flood lights they replaced.

As halogen, these give off enough heat to thaw ice spots on an outdoor walk if you put them 2 inches off the ground.

I took a chance on these when ordering the same size outdoor floodlights for my home.The GE bulbs are getting harder to find and they are also getting pretty expensive.These bulbs are excellent - solid construction at a very fair price..I ordered 2 of the 2 packs so I have 'ready replacements' on hand for my double floodlight that shines on my driveway..I even tested one of the bulbs next to my GE bulb in the light fixture after dark this evening..I can attest that these new bulbs are as bright as the GE bulbs!While I cannot speak to the 'long term performance' of these bulbs, I can say that I feel very confident in my purchase and would highly recommend this product!
