I had two metal combs that I somehow lost so I needed areplacement. These are pretty good but the teeth are a little too long but for the price I will make do. I did find one of my original combs after I ordered these so these are a backup in case I lose my good comb again. Just wish the teeth weren’t so long but they are sturdy and get the job done.

I got one of these for my cat and came up quite jealous at this comb. It's a wonderfully weighted tool, manages tangles with ease and feels quite nice on the scalp. Although my cat is quite psychotically anti grooming (only brushing... I can clip her nails like nothing is happening and she's fine but brushing... brushing involves Catnip calming spray, gloves, two people, growling, hissing, biting, scratching..) But I always finish by running this comb through her to smooth out her coat and she looks absolutely beautiful. It also works well to loosen any matts that may start to form in her undercoat. It's nice that it does double duty and works for cat hair and mine can work to relax me as well.

I was a professional dog groomer for more than 25 years. This comb is very suitable for anyone that keeps their pet groomed. If your pet has matted hair, take it to a professional. The comb is easy to hold and maneuver. It is a little heavy for a professional groomer, using it all day every day, it may cause hand fatigue. However, I bought these comb to make a comb for weaving tapestry. We have sawed them into sections and I was very happy to see that they are sold stainless steel, of a magnetic grade, but still solid. You can’t beat the price for the quality.

im a dog groomer and use combs regularly. these are very sturdy the only downfall is the teeth on the comb are too far apart which makes it difficult to detangle hair
