About this item

  • Featherweight and Durable: Made with advanced Thermoplastic Polyurethane (TPU) technology, these tubes weigh just 36g (700x18-32C) and 45g (700x32-47C). They offer the perfect balance of durability and lightweight design, ideal for competitive racing and everyday riding.
  • 【Major Upgrade①: Metal Presta Valve】TPU inner tubes typically use lightweight plastic valve stems, which can lack airtightness and occasionally cause leaks. RideNow addresses this issue by using metal valve stems, maintaining a total weight of just 36g (700x18-32c) and 45g (700x32-47c). This upgrade ensures a reliable ultra-light experience with improved air tightness. The metal valves are also more corrosion-resistant, providing stability during rides.
  • 【Major Upgrade②: Removable Core】The removable valve core design allows for easy maintenance and replacement of the air core at any time. It is also compatible with threaded extension nozzles, offering added convenience for users.
  • Two Sizes Available: 700x18-32C and 700x32-47C. If your road bike tire size is 700x18C, 700x23C, 700x25C, 700x28C, or 700x32C, choose 700x18-32C. If your gravel bike tire size is 700x32C, 700x35C, 700x37C, 700x40C, or 700x47C, choose 700x32-47C.
  • Multiple Valve Length Options: Available in 45mm, 65mm, and 85mm Presta valves, you can choose the perfect valve length to match your bike's rims.
  • Versatile and Cost-Effective Compatibility: Designed for both disc and rim brake systems, these innovative inner tubes suit a wide range of road bikes. They provide exceptional puncture resistance and maintain stable performance even at lower tire pressures, making them ideal for challenging racing and riding conditions.

So far so good! The are incredibly light and they are compact when stored in my seat bag. They also hold air much better than my old butyl tubes!

I'm an intermediary rider. Have logged only miles on traditional tire systems; no tubeless and no sew-ons. I'm trying these TPU inner tubes because of the theory that less rotational weight makes for a lighter bike. At the moment, feel faster but don't have the metrics to prove it. I'm hoping the summer will allow me to fully test these.Since these are considerably lighter and smaller in size than regular butyl tubes, you can carry more as spares for a ride.

I made the switch from butyl tubes to TPU tubes. I have ridden for over 30 years and ride about 6 - 7000 miles per year. I will never go back to using standard butyl tubes. There are many claims about why TPU tubes are better, they are lighter and offer lower rolling resistance but mostly the amount of space it takes to carry extra tubes. I do a lot of long distance riding and always carry two extra tubes, the amount of space these tubes save is amazing. It is easier to patch TPU tubes and they do not leak down the way butyl tubes do. I have been using them for a year and have not had a flat, oh course now I have jinxed myself by saying that out loud. The quality of these tubes is great. I would not pay $30 per tube for the other brands.

I have my tires set up tubeless and carry these as spares. These seem like nicely made, lightweight tubes. I have a deep carbon rim on my rear wheel, and I like the fact that really long valve stems are available.

So far pretty good!I’ve been using Silca latex tubes for a full season, and the Ride Now TPU feel great,Pros:The price is great! Vs silca.Very light weightPerformance is just as good as the big brands.100% recommendBuild quality seems good.Holds a little more air than the old latex tubes.Cons:Not a big fan of the bright pink stem. Doesn’t match my bike colours.2 weeks update.Still great performance, but the rear tire is almost completely flat in the mornings! Front tire drops around 20 psi. Might buy more tubes for spares.update:rear tube is dead! will not hold air anymore. front tube is STILL working.

I swore off TPU tubes after some really bad experiences with some of the other brands sold here, but when I saw these with the upgraded valves, I gave them a shot. I’ve been riding them for over a week, a couple hours a day, and I absolutely love them. They hold air well, even better than butyl tubes. I pump them up to 72psi and I don’t have to put more than 5psi back in the next day. The weight reduction and improved rolling resistance is very noticeable.I’m running them with 28mm tires and a rim brake set up, and no issues so far. I live in a hilly city and no issues with deformities from the rims heating up either.

Purchased a two tube set. One wheel is fine, the other developed leaks immediately before riding. Upon soap bubble test, the tube had FIVE!!! pin hole leaks. Not good.Update:The replacement tubes worked well. They held air just fine for the past week. 45mm stems were longer than the depth of my rims, I had to shim the stem with a piece of 3/8" plastic tube.Moving the rating from 1 star to 3 stars.Update 3/26/2025. Total disappointment and a waste of money. Both new tubes developed leaks just from sitting on the bike rack. They no longer hold air more than 10 minutes. Back to 1 star.

This was my first foray into using TPU inner tubes after hearing recommendations from other cyclists. The brand name TPU tubes are pricey (e.g., $30 or more per tube) so I ordered these "RideNow" tubes since they got some decent reviews on Amazon and only cost about $16 per tube. Also because they have metal valves. However, I learned the hard way that only the top section is actually metal; the bottom portion is plastic and prone to breaking. As a result the first pair of RideNow tubes I tried both failed very quickly due to user error on my part. After figuring things I ordered a 2nd pair and haven't had any issues since. The tubes an attractively packaged and really do have a noticeably nicer ride quality vs. butyl tubes, but they could really use some better & more complete instructions. The leaflet that comes with the tubes has an extremely small font (you may need a magnifying glass to read them), and aren't very thorough. I also tried going to their instructions on the Web but they weren't much better. So I would recommend these tubes but have a few tips: 1) be gentle with the valve stems and be sure to use the protective plastic spacer that covers the base; 2) also don't tighten the retainer nut (w/O-ring) too tight; and, 3) try to avoid using CO2 with these tubes (which I understand is generally true for most brands of TPU tubes).
