Description states will fit front frame of Jeep JK and JL from 2007 to 2017. That’s a lie. I have a stock 2009 JK does not even fit lying description.

These are really solid shackle mounts for my custom build trailer bumper. Hardware was all present and seem to be high grade. Very pleased with the purchase.Now, my usage is to utilize these for tie down points to strap my kayak to my roof rack. While I cannot attest to its overall strength to withstand using them as recovery points, everything seems solid and ‘beefy’. I just can’t say for sure that the casting of the main piece is of the high quality necessary for recovery. I think it is, but I don’t want my 5-star review mislead anyone to conclusions I’m not trying to make, as I’m not truly using these as recovery points.

Most shackle mounts are rated for around 1T, but this bad boy was listed at 5T!The thing that specifically drew me to it was that it was listed as having a 2.5" opening for the shackle.That's big enough for my 3/4" shackle's ear to fit through, so I could hook use the pin for a guage that only fits the pin.Unfortunately however, this is an inaccurate measurement - it is actually a 1" opening, which will only accomodate the pin.Now I could use 2 shackles linked, but I think it's important to highlight inaccurate info.I did not install this, it seems every bit as heavy duty as the Ambull version (~$10 more).Just wanted to clarify that the measurements are wrong.If I could give a neutral review with no stars associated I would - but since I can't, it can have 5 stars because it's not a bad product, just wrong measurements.
