The sturdiness of this is awesome! Worth purchasing when needing the adhesive. Super easy to install and holds my rack.

My last house had a free standing tub. So when I finally moved, I got a shower with walls. So I set up several shower caddies. I don’t know whether I’m normally really rough on them or the hooks that came with the original caddies were too fragile, but I ended up breaking more than one set. These have stayed on my shower wall for months! My caddies are secure. I’m really happy with them.

Love your extra shelves/caddys you DYI in tub or shower for extra storage? but...you put a few to many items into them? Yep I did just exactly this and thought I was bummed with having to buy a complete new set of metal storage used for showers or tubs. This here is the smartest idea and you just saved me some money! So I owe you a big thank you. I was able to reuse the same metal shower caddy and didn't have to spend but a few bucks & my time. Tip #1 Make sure to get every last bit of the old sticker adhesive off the wall before you go in with the new one. of course this will give you the longest use out of strips. I myself actually got out my blow dryer and got that sticky stuff warm. Let me tell you, it made a huge difference and less annoying. The hotter I got the easier It was to scrape off. I used the opposite side of my tweezers, yes you read that correctly tweezers you pluck eyebrows with, the opposite end. I had tried a few items but this object worked the best for me. you had a good handle? Hold close enough to where its not going to slip threw fingers from all the pressure your using & well end up on floor. As this happened many times to me. Tip #2 I would use better judgement on how much weight you can truly add too these type of storage units. Less is obliviously more but save yourself the troubles of having to do again. Or even better Idea (If you own of course) throw some good permanent glue on the wall before you put up the new caddy strip. If you are a renter I would avoid this step and use strips alone. P.S remember if you use glue, your working on a wall and things tend to slide when doing so. Not saying anyone is dumb or don't already know all this but hey, we all have bad days and need a little reminder as we go, I sure know that I do. Hate to admit at times but here we are lol. Try and find something tall enough to put up against new strip and glue, maybe you could even use some good tape to just hold in place for 24 hours while it dries. Remember tho don't use tape that could possibly over stick with mess up the area around the caddy as you could ruin the paint or wallpaper. Thanks for reading and happy

This is a very strong replacement adhesive strip for a hanging wire basket or shelf. The retaining "fingers" on the plastic clips are made for a specific round wire and my basket is a flatter wire so it doesn't retain as is. I am going to wrap some black electrical tape around the wire area the clip would go to. That should fatten up the wire and allow it to clip securely.
