Not for me and my family but I think we struggled with the timing and process. Not to say they’re ineffective, just for us we couldn’t find the sweet-spot on freeze time and squeeze ratio. Using a chilled liquid in seems to help, and not taking them out too early or it leads to liquifying the entire mixture and almost starting over again.

These little cups are very cool. My teenagers and 5 year old were really happy to discover them after seeing them online. My expectations were low but I ended up very impressed. It literally took less than a minute of smooshing to turn apple/pineapple juice into a thick slushy sweet treat for my 5 year old. It didn't hold as much liquid as I expected but the screw tops likely allow for more liquid than I was brave enough to try. Was more than enough for my little one below standard cup level. You will need a bottle brush to clean as the insides have lots of little nooks. Definitely wash immediately after use and pop bsck in the freezer to avoid bacterial growth. New summer must have. Can't wait to try to perfect a dairy free frappe.

This little slushy cup is kind of genius. No machines, no mess...just toss it in the freezer for a few hours, pour in your drink, squish it around for a bit, and boom...slushy magic. It’s weirdly satisfying to watch it turn from regular juice or soda into a frozen treat right in your hands. My kids are loving these and I love that there is a simple "dessert" just a few minutes away simply by pouring whatever we have on hand into these cups.The texture is spot on, and the flavor stays true since there’s no ice watering it down. They are super easy to clean and then just store in the freezer until one of us gets ready to whip up a slush of some sort. They don't leak and seem quite durable. We are really happy to have them and will continue to use them on the regular especially as summer hits!

My kids are obsessed with these slushy cups. I had wanted to try something similar a year or so ago, but the instructions said the liquid had to have sugar in it, and we don't drink juice or sugar-added drinks, so I didn't get them then. This set of slushie cups said nothing about needing sugar, so we tried them. They work great! We have been using the True Lemon packets, which are Stevia sweetened, and in just over a minute, we have slushies! So fun! The lids on this set screw on well and prevent leaks or messes (unless you're violent with squeezing the liquid...looking at you, teenage sons!) I tried a couple different sets of these when I realized the liquid doesn't need sugar, and one set had lids that didn't tighten properly, and the threaded rings kept falling off. So far, the lids on this set seem to work better. These do have a really strong odor out of the box, so we rinsed and soaked them in vinegar water. The smell is still there, but much fainter after freezing, and the slushie doesn't absorb any of the odor/taste. Overall. Fun for the kiddos this summer, and MUCH less mess than ice and the food processor!
