It came with no directions at all, not even a picture, and no explanation of what these two “scoop” - like pieces are for! What are these??

These are nice and sturdy little step stools. They came compact in the shipping box, but were fairly easy to assemble. They do not slide on tile bathroom floors and support the weight of a toddler without any problem. I can see these supporting him for quite a while as he grows. The top step is a little on the narrow side, so needs to be well supervised if your child is younger. The material is smooth, durable, and easy to wipe clean. I was pleasantly surprised by the faucet extenders that came with it. It makes washing hands much easier for young ones who can't quite reach the stream of the faucet. They are easy to install and don't damage the faucet. Great toddler bathroom package!

Very nice and sturdy! Cute design! Easy to assemble. Its a nice size stool. Has 2 steps. Great for toddlers to reach sink in bathroom and also to step up to use the potty. We love these! 10 out 10 recommend.

Overall the step stool is great. Our daughter loves it and I love it because I can stand on it as well. It's pretty easy to put together. You take the top step and just put it right on top of the bottom step, just make sure you click it into place otherwise it will come right back off. The side handles are terrible. They are next to impossible to get in and it took me about 20 minutes to put each one in. You have to maneuver the step stool and the little side handle so that you can get in the little notch. One of them I was only able to get in part of the way because it looks like the plastic on the step stool was a little deformed so it won't fit properly. I don't think you really need them. This also comes with two sink extenders which is pretty cool. Our daughter is old enough and tall enough to not need those anymore but I love that it comes with it. You just slide them right over your faucet and it extends the stream of the water. The step stools are a little bulky but they do seem sturdy which is good because you don't want to have your child fall off of it. I love that it comes with two. For us that was really great because we needed a taller step stool in the kitchen and one in front of the washing machine. Our washing machine is really deep so I use it in front of the washing machine as well as my daughter when she helps me with laundry. I would say definitely look for a sale but because you're getting two and the sink extenders it's a decent price.
