This is an upscale 3-ring binder with specialty divider tabs. Its smart product for estate planning, as the tabs are pre-printed with topics and issues that come up with estate planning and death, such as the will. The binder itself is good, high quality, a touch better than a standard plastic 3-ring binder. It feels more durable, and has slight padded soft covers, so it looks upscale.Do you really need this product?? Maybe or maybe not. You could do it with just a regular 3-ring binder. With the divider tabs though, it's helpful because it might refresh your memory to plan for a topic that you wouldn't have thought of in advance. And it does look nicer than a plastic 3-ring binder, so if you have to take it somewhere, like to your lawyer or probate court, it looks professional. I'm helping my parents currently with their estate planning as they are aging, and we are using these binders to put all that information in one place.

This estate planner is the second one I have ordered from Amazon. The first one was just a loose set of pages & was difficult to get through. This estate planner binder is AWESOME!! It is super well-organized, the tabs make navigating the information easily. The forms that are included are perfect for our state (Alaska) & appear to be well-made so that they would pass (with appropriate verification) in any court in the US. My husband & I have already begun organizing our estate & talking to our kids about what they want from our home, collections, jewelry, etc. This way, unlike what happened with my parents, we will be able to provide our children with clear direct on what is to be done with our estate after we are gone. We are also pleased to see that there is information included to help a surviving spouse make needed changes to the plan should one spouse survive the other. I definitely recommend & would buy again.
