Very little aperture for the water to flow down, VERY NARROW, will easily pool up the sink with facet half open. BAD DESIGN

My drains had a little cross guard on them that I had to cut out before these would fit. If these were more shallow, it wouldn't have been an issue but these are quite long and the guard was 1.5 inches down that was in the way.

I give this 4 stars, but will update after a time for me to see how it holds up to daily use. I live in an old building and many fixtures reflect that. They often don't make things that fit well, but I manage to come close.This was a win out of the box. I had bought a metal stopper a few years ago, but cleaning it out was a gross job, but it did fit and while it did not stop the water draining, it slowed it considerably. I thought that was the best I was going to find and it beat having no stopper at all.This thing not only fits in my odd drain in the bathroom sink, it has a mesh catcher compartment, so when you pull it off, you can dump the yuck into the trash, rinse it, put it back on the stopper and put back into the drain. I love it and do not miss having to pull the hair, gunk, etc., out of the old one to clean it.Another nice thing is that the metal ring around the push button stopper is much smaller in diameter on this one and seems to provide a better seal for less drainage. My mate agrees that when shaving it keeps the water in the sink longer.

Not good please don't waste your money. The water drains so slow the sink will be done ran over.
