This 2 Pcs Bunuelos Funnel Cake Maker set is easy to use, easy to clean, and just plain fun. The molds screw onto the handles securely, and once assembled, they felt sturdy and well balanced in the oil. The long wooden handles stay cool and give you a safe distance from the hot oil, which I really appreciated because I was baking with my 7 year old niece. The irons themselves are a good size, larger than what I expected from eating these in the past, but actually once they were made, they were the perfect size. They make beautiful, crisp and delicious treats with nice definition. I also like that the handles are angled slightly, which helps with control while frying. They heat up quickly and consistently, and once coated in batter, release cleanly in the oil with no sticking or tearing. You just hold them down for a few seconds while they heat evenly and you've created a masterpiece just waiting for a little powdered sugar. I got the hang of using these quickly, as did my niece, and this whole process was new to both of us. We are going to make a ton of these for the holidays and start a new family tradition. I have always been a hug fan of the taste of funnel cakes and that's what the final outcome tastes like. I think these are a great, high-quality product! And for a set of two, it’s a good value too. I’d definitely recommend these to anyone who enjoys making fun desserts. And I'd also recommend them as a fun activity to do with kids (well-supervised of course as you're dealing with hot oil. But the handles are long enough to make it a safe activity if you're monitoring properly). These molds do the job their intended to do well and they make the whole process enjoyable. Highly recommend!

Easy to use and make delicious sweet treats. It was easy to assemble the irons and use them. They did not have any issues with creating yummy fried donuts.I used this recipe and they were delicious Ingredients:1 cup all-purpose flour1 tablespoon sugar1 teaspoon baking powder1/4 teaspoon salt1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)1/2 cup water1 egg2 tablespoons melted butter or vegetable oilOil for frying (vegetable or canola oil)Powdered sugar for dusting (optional)Instructions:1. Prepare the Dough: In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. In another bowl, whisk together the water, egg, vanilla extract (if using), and melted butter or oil. Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir until smooth. The batter should be fairly thick but smooth.2. Heat the Oil: Heat the oil in a deep frying pan or pot over medium-high heat. You’ll want enough oil to fully submerge the waffle iron, about 3-4 inches deep. The ideal frying temperature is around 350°F (175°C).3. Coat the Waffle Iron: Once the oil is hot, lightly grease your waffle iron (or doughnut iron). Dip the heated waffle iron into the batter so that the batter lightly coats the iron. Make sure not to overcoat it — you want a thin layer of batter.4. Fry: Carefully lower the batter-covered iron into the hot oil and fry for 1-2 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy. You may need to adjust the frying time depending on the thickness of your batter or the heat of the oil.5. Drain and Serve: Remove the buñuelos from the oil and allow them to drain on paper towels. Dust with powdered sugar if desired and serve immediately.

We’ve been enjoying making buñeulos with these and overall they work well, but they do tip when you’re laying them flat into the oil. You have to hold them down flat while they’re being heated which is a bit annoying.I like the curved/bent body these have, the wood handle is decent and the rosette these make is pretty- but docking a star because of the tipping issue. Makes it tricky for just one person to manage making these alone. I’ve had to enlist the help of my kiddo which is fine but just be aware.

These require slight assembly. They arrive boxed, each bunuelos mold must be screwed onto the handle. One of them did seem to screw on more easily than the other, but both screwed on tightly. The handles are nice a long (a plus for safely when you are dipping them into hot oil). They are simple and lightweight. Each is boxed separately, making gifting them to separate people easy. No recipe or instruction is included. I would reorder.

This is a nice set but it could have been made a little better. I am speaking about the screw in portion. This is where some extra money could have been spent to made this a better mold. You have to be very careful when screwing it in as it has a tendency to want to strip. The handle is nice. I think it is a bit pricey but that is my opinion. I have not used it yet and once I do I will update my review.

This rosette cookie maker is much larger than the ones I grew up with. The resulting cookie is about 5 inches across. If you follow a traditional recipe, however, the cookie is melt in your mouth crunchy and light. Think mini Belgian waffle. The metal rosette is sturdy, is well made and screws securely into the handle. The grip is wood so you can work without burning your hand and it’s long enough you are away from the frying oil. I made two dozen cookies and it worked perfectly. Couldn’t be happier with this cookie iron.
