I have used covers like these on my seat belts for years. Some car's seat belts aren't a problem, others, are really a pain in the neck. These covers do help. This pair is going into my Jeep. These are thinner that I have used before, but they are very soft, and do the job. Don't install them too tightly - you want to be able to move this up and down the seat belt to get it to retract properly, or for different body sizes in the seat. They are secured with a full length Velcro on both sides of the seam. Simple to install and remove.

I ordered these for my husband's van, and they work great. They are a good size, not taking up too much of the seatbelt area and they are comfortable way to keep the belt from digging into the skin. They did shed a little bit at first but ok now. For the price I had to give them 5 stars.
