Parakeets need the cuttlebone for calcium & the holder works but needs 2 cuttlebones inserted to keep them from falling out.

Kind of wobbly so if you have feisty birds they xann knock it out. Still cute and useful for calm birds and large cages. My cage doesn't have much surface but it's tall so when I go to clean or maintain my cage the cuddle falls out. It's kind of frustrating

My birds love these! They came bigger than I expected which is great, they're surprisingly really good quality adds a nice pop of color for them they love sitting on the little leaves. The cuddle bones that came with it are actual cuddle bones not synthetic. And it came with a lot of cuddle bones so that was a good value for the money

The holder screws securely to the cage, holding the cuttlebone and there is a small built in perch if they want to use it. Much better than the flimsy metal clip that comes with the package of cuttlebone .

Comes in a pack of two and includes a total of four cuttlebones. Easy to install, are sturdy and good quality. I love that they are cute and functional and include an adorable leaf perch for the birds. I have three parakeets and they love them!
