This power cable works well with my game trail camera. The cord is new resistant, which is important due to the number of animals present. It also withstands weather very well.

These power cables are quality and work fine as long as you secure them so the weight isn’t just dangling or they’ll come unplugged. Any chew proof cable I’ve had has had this problem and not a particular brand. You either get peace of mind and deal with it or get the ones that will eventually get chewed up.

Due to the fact that I reside in a region that is rich in wildlife, I have experienced the loss of a considerable number of cables to various creatures, whether it be raccoons who are interested or squirrels that decide that my equipment is appealing to them. The chew-proof feature of this power cable is, in my opinion, a significant step forward in the industry. Both the cable and the metal enclosure have performed well up to this point. The cable has a very solid feel about it. The fact that I haven't noticed a single bite mark on it despite the fact that it has been out in the woods for a few weeks now is more than I can say about some of the cheaper cables that I have used in the past. I was able to set my camera at precisely the correct angle to take those elusive photos of deer and other animals thanks to the large length of 79 inches. I did not feel restricted in my ability to do so. The plug is of a wonderful size and fits tightly; I did not have any problems with a connection that was loose or unsteady under any circumstances. Simply plugging it into my external battery pack was all that was required to get it up and running; the setup was quite simple. For a period of many weeks, I used this device to power my camera continually, and I was able to see that it has significantly alleviated the aggravation that comes with having to change batteries on a regular basis. This power solution is one that I believe should be considered an absolute must for anybody who makes substantial use of trail cameras. My trust in the cable's capacity to withstand adverse weather conditions was bolstered by the fact that it succeeded in maintaining a dependable connection even in the face of some quite intense precipitation.

These chew proof cables are much smoother than I expected and don’t get hung up when routing around twigs and branches. The sheathing has some stretch to them as well… I wasn’t expecting that especially when compared to other chew proof / armored cables I have. This cable is also much smaller in diameter that my other armored cables. I used one cable on a trail camera and the battery life is strong, so I assume it’s still working and not chewed thru. The second one was used for a solar lit address sign with the cord in the brush, but the rabbits kept chewing it. Since using this cable, no chewed cords despite its small and narrow size. I’d definitely get more without hesitation.

We just sold connection wires for your trail camera that is battery powered and needs installation at places where you need rugged wire for the data transmission. These are very good quality jacks that have stainless steel protection. The PVC shell is non-damageable by the animals. The length is very ideal for descend distance coverage. We’re all very happy with the quality for the price.
