Doesn't fit. The retaining clip on our car (all four headlights use the same one) has a pair of clamps to keep the bulb seated in the socket, these do not have that and do not fit. Disappointed.

After mangling the stock headlamp retaining clips to fit my new low forward lighting LED modules, I decided to get purpose-made clips. To install, I removed the front washer-like retaining ring of the LED module and mated it to the new retaining clip. Then I placed the pair into the socket of the headlight assembly and was able to easily twist them into place with both tabs securely under their respective locking pins. The retaining clip only goes in one way, and the tab of the LED retaining ring of your LED module should be facing up.If you're having trouble getting it secure and both tabs aren't under the locking pins, all you need to do is rotate it 180° and problem solved!I didn't have to remove anything to install them aside from the dust covers of the headlight assemblies and the fuse box cover so I could see further inside the driver's side unit. After installing the retaining clips, I placed the LED module through the retainer and rotated to lock in place, then rotated the bulb so that the diodes were facing left and right horizontally.Such a better fit than my mangled stock retaining clips. With the stock clips I could only lock one tab in and the LED module was sitting slightly higher and not super secure. Even though the stock clips weren't 100% locked in, the LED modules stayed in place during a 6 hour drive from Humboldt to San Joaquin County (Eureka to Lodi). The new clips holds my LED modules securely and I have no worries about them falling out. Also, I bought some 4300k bulbs on eBay from Formula J87, the only place I could find warm white LEDs. Most LED bulbs are 6000k/6500k color temperature, which are generally too blue, have a higher risk of glare/blinding during night driving, and don't project as far down the road as warmer colored lights. Typical incandescent headlamps are around 3500k, so 4300k gets you more white light but not so much that you blind other drivers.I've seen people say that LED headlights are blinding because of their shape or the fact that they're generally seen in reflector (rather than projector) headlights. Reflector headlights spread light everywhere, and a brighter light means more glare (including incandescents), and a bright white light means the most glare. So, 6500k bright white LEDs in reflector style headlights are the worst.Get a warmer LED in a reflector and most of the problem is solved. Get them in a projector and problem no more. Warmer light (that's also white enough like 4300k) will give you better visibility in fog, rain and snow. That's why fog lights are often 3000k yellow.
