I ordered this jack handle keeper and handle grip set to make it easier to keep my Hi-Lift Jack handle from falling loose when moving from one location to another. It performs exactly as it should, besides looking good on the jack. It is made of a tough semi-hard rubbery plastic that does not appear to be in any way breakable.It took seconds to install. The keeper slid over the top clevis and the bolt easily. I was able to slide it down the upright steel bar with almost no effort. The ring on the keeper fits over the jack handle easily and the keeper seems to stay in place while the jack is being carried. There is a little play in the fit, but it does not slip up and down easy enough for me to think it will ever slide off and be lost.I have another keeper made by another brand which fits more tightly, enough to be irritating when I need to slide it up over the end of the jack handle and use the jack..The handle grip fits tightly over the end if the Hi-Lift Jack handle. The grip does not add to the diameter of the handle significantly. I would guess it is about 1/8" thick. It would make the handle more comfortable to use,One concern I have about using the grip/keeper combo, is that the keeper ring will not fit over the handle grip. I am not able to use both. So for me, it was a coin toss of which one I wanted to use, and I specifically wanted the keeper.At this price point, I consider this good value for the money.I recommend the keeper to jack users, DIYers, and Professionals.

This handle grip set seems like a good idea, but my opinion is that they did not design it very well.The jack handle grip fits well on my Hi-lift but the "Handle keeper" has a lot of excess room. The product details specifically say that "you must remove the handle grip before you can remove the keeper" which seems like a bad design to me. I ended up cutting the end off to fit further down the handle shaft, and now the keeper can slidw over the shaft and stops at the handle.Last I install the removable hook and install it as close to the keeper as I can and the three pieces sort of lock each other in place.

Fits well on my old Torin 48” Jack. Good value. The thing that took me a moment to figure out is that the jack head needs to slide up to allow the holder to disengage from the jack post. Once I figured that out, it worked well. No written instructions, so you’re left with your wits.

Perfect fit. I keep my hi-lift in a tool box on my trailer, and I always hear the handle rattling around. Not any more! This solves that issue.

So I opened the box and was overcome with that wonderfully fresh, industrial rubber aroma….maybe don’t open inside, especially if there’s a significant other around. Weirdly, this is the second rubber product that’s arrived with a powerful stench that one doesn’t get with products here in the states.I obviously didn’t think this through when I placed the order, but it was immediately apparent when installing. The only way to get the isolator on or off is without the grip installed. The major fail though is that the cutout for the jack profile is fine on half, but nowhere near close on the other half. That makes the isolator so insanely sloppy that the handle with rattle like crazy….the entire point of getting an isolator! For an insanely oversized chunk of rubber, it’s a major bummer. With that, I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone.Get the real deal isolator with the strap. They don’t last forever (the strap wears out eventually) but they can be cinched down snug to prevent rattles and are a snap to release….no need to remove and reinstall the grip with every use.
