Nothing fancy about these tighteners. The folding hook makes then easy to store and keep in your kit bag for when it's needed. They work well and at less than $8 for two, it is a great option for your primary or backup lace tightener. I recommend it.

This helps my 9- and 7-year-old tighten their skates perfectly since they really don't have the hard/arm strength to do it otherwise. They just hook it right in the middle and twist and it tightens right up. When not in use you can just flip it closed and toss it in your bag.
