These little tools are made of solid aluminum. The spring seems to have enough tension for repeated use over time. It’s a good length and designed with a grip to prevent slipping. The jaws are delicate, made to pick up smaller items. I ordered these to help pick up misplaced drills in diamond painting art but it’s a bit of a struggle to pick one up when adhesive is involved so I don’t think these grabbers are a good choice for this. Although they don’t work that great for diamond art they are still a 5-star tool and will come in handy for other small tasks in the future. Plus, this set is priced to sell.

These are useful for grabbing a lot of different sized beads, manipulating them into position, and holding them in place (in glue for example) for various hobbies, and they prevent you making a giant mess with the rest of your beads trying to dig them out while you do it. Only real issue I've found is the really small beads will get pulled right in if you're not careful as the hole at the tip of these tools is bigger than they are... Good set overall though, and it's nice to have a spare in case one breaks.I'd give them a 4.5 overall...they gain points for being a 2 pack, but lose points for eating the really small beads if you're not careful with them.

Worked fine, this grabber is rather small, about 6” long, but that means it can fit into one’s pocket. It’s made of metal, perhaps aluminum, and seems fairly sturdy.

Every hobbyist should own one of these. I got these because I have a teeny weeny hat that need to be placed on a teeny weeny shelf in a model that I am currently working on. I couldn't get it to sit up right using tweezers, ( and I have several different size and shaped ones at hand), because the hat kept slipping from the tweezers. This little tool allowed me to get it placed on the first try. These can capture you small piece and hold it securely until you are ready to release it. I'll never be without one of these ever again. Such a useful tool.

Handles well with larger balls. Holds small ones too , but the hole on the tip of tool allows the claw to retract In to far either smaller balls. Still recommend

I have fat fingers but some of my hobbies require picking up small parts (teeny screws, lock pins, tiny standoffs, small details for models made of plastic or brass, etc.) These grabbers work very well for most of my small-things-grabbing needs. There are limits though to what you can pick up with these, though. It the item is so small that it slips out of the grabber fingers or small enough to go inside the grabber barrel, these are not the tool you need. The claw wires are very sturdy and they are able to grab a wide variety of regular and irregular shapes. They hold quite well, at least for the kinds of things that I've tested them on. They also release easily which is sometimes is more important than their ability to hold. (It can be quite frustrating to maneuver a screw into a difficult position only to not be able to release it without dislodging it in the process of releasing it.)When these arrived, they had only been loosely fitted together, initially making me concerned about the quality. But once I tightened them up, they've been fine. It's purely an aesthetic thing, but I like the knurling and anodizing of the barrels. They remind me of the barrels for some of the sets of darts that I own.

I use these for working with hot fix crystals. They take away the frustration of trying to pick up and place tiny oddly shaped stones. The length of the tools is etched, which creates a surface that makes them easy to grip. The prongs are thin and delicate enough to pick up tiny stones but are still very sturdy. I’m surprised by how well-made these are overall considering how inexpensive they were.Since they’re tools, their appearance is much less important in comparison to how well they work, but I can’t help but mention that they’re still attractive. The two I received are colored a shiny blue and gold and the blue one is especially pretty. The etching that creates the grip gives them a nice reflective surface.

It holds the ball yea but it pulls it all the way inside of the thing so I can’t even screw it onto my nose ring. Definitely wasted my money.
