I have reviewed a few of these, and this one is more on the thinner side of all of them. That is great if you want something light and don't want to add unnecessary weight to your ride. Most of us do not care about the weight, but some do. These you can actually bend into place if they are not lined up the way you want them to, even after all the screws are tightened all the way.I also wish they had a smooth bend to them, but again, this may be personal preference instead of functionality. It looks like they were cut out from a flat piece of metal and bend in 1 inch increments to get the curvature desired. Not my cup of tea but my buddy who ended up mounting them on his sportster didn't have an issue with it.

I love these pair of hand guards. It took less than 10mins to install on my 2017 Dyna Street Bob. It was just a matter of unscrewing the mirrors and placing the handguards in place, placing the mirrors back, and screwing everything back in. It was that simple and easy to install. I did use locktite as a security measure to prevent anything from coming loose. The hand guards add a new look to the bike and does actually feel a bit different while riding. Less wind going into your hands means a bit more comfortable while riding and a bit warm as well on colder days. Highly recommend.
