Nothing I did to remove the chemicals worked. They smell toxic.

The Jingmore 2 Pcs Passover Soft Matzah Tray Matzo Plate with Pesach Potpourri Design Jerusalem Seder Plate Holder adds a sweet and colorful touch to any Seder table. Although they initially had a strong plastic smell, airing them out for a month resolved the issue. These trays are a lovely addition to our family Passover celebrations, promising to be cherished year after year.

1) the items came, and when they were unpacked, which in and of itself was a chore, they have such a stink to them that I'm not sure they are usable. And given that they have a layer of cardboard in them, I'm pretty sure they're not machine washable. So we've now put them outside and hopefully within the next month they will air out. Otherwise they'll be useless.2) the picture on the Amazon website shows several pieces of Mazda angled in the package do not believe the picture on the Amazon website shows several pieces of Mazda angled in the Trey, do not believe it. A regular size matzah if it's exactly inside it, which is fine, but that's how small they are they are not as big as the picture makes them look. I was worried after reading the reviews that I had made a mistake when purchasing this product. While the smell is very toxic, and very off-putting, I was able to wash them three times before using them this year. Thankfully, the smell came out, and they looked great on my table.

Although they are pretty and suitable for matzah when I opened them they smelt really unpleasant and we had to leave them in the garden for a few days to get rid of the smell!

Unusable, smells like toxic poison. Definitely cannot use it with food.

I am hesitant to even give these 3 stars because the strong fumes overwhelmed me when I opened them from the package. I had to take them directly outside to air out for a few days, but now I hesitate to put any dry goods in these plates. They did arrive and look exactly like the image on the listing so there was no surprise there. The fumes were a huge surprise. I don't know yet how they will wash up, but hopefully ok. I will try next year to use them for Passover.
