The chains are sturdy, and disentangled easily the first time I removed them from the case. The case is nothing special, a little weak, but good enough to contain the chains if treated reasonably. The instructions suggest that these chains may be easier to install than other diamond chains.

It's always good to have a set of chains when traveling in the winter. I was needing a new pair, and these are perfect. They are easy to use and put on the tires. They came in a standard tire chains bag with directions on how to use. These are a great option if you are looking for snow chains.

In my area, most paved roads do not permit chain use, but some mountain roads and the gravel roads do permit tire chains. Having been stuck in the road in the past, I looked at tire chains. I hesitated to get chains since I wasn't sure I would be able to put them on. But this company put the instructions to put tire chains on right in the listing, so I can be confident that I can put the chains on. They also put an additional chart of tire sizes for the KN140 in the details below rather than in the pictures at the top. I almost missed it, it really should be in the pictures at the top with the chart for the KN70 chains.I don't have any snow at the moment, so a road test is not possible. I do strongly suggest a dry run putting on the chains so you understand how the wheel well clearance (or lack of clearance) will affect putting the tire chains on in an emergency. Also, stash a compact snow shovel in your car beside the chains as you will very likely need it.

Everyone was telling me that snow chains aren't allowed in my state, but I checked the law, and they totally are! Having moved onto a road that doesn't get immediately plowed - and that has a bunch of hills - these chains are hopefully going to make it possible for me to leave my house a day or two earlier in the event of a big snowfall. I haven't had a chance to use them yet, but I'll update once I do.
