UHF Active Directional antenna paddle for Antenna distribution system
1.Products Features
Active directional antenna uses a log periodic array to offer enhanced reception when directed toward
the desired coverage area.An integrated amplifier and four gain settings compensate for varying degrees
of coaxial cable signal loss.Low-noise signal amplifier compensate for insertion loss in coaxial cable.
2.Products Installation
Connect the antenna to the receiver or distribution system using the cables given(or any 50 ohm ,low-loss coaxial cable).
The antenna only operates with receivers or distribution systems that provide 8-15V DC bias.
Lower the gain setting for short cable runs,or increase gain for longer runs.
Note that the quality of the cable,not just the length,contributes to signal loss.
Direct the antenna toward the intended coverage area.

Antenna Paddle Gain Adjustment :
1.Gain switch
Adjust the four-position gain switch to compensate for the calculated cable
loss,based on the length and type of cable.
2.Gain mode LED
Indicates the current gain switch setting.
3.RF Overload LED
Indicates a strong RF signal that is overloading the antenna amplifier,which results in distortion or poor performance.Increase
the distance between the antenna and transmitter,or lower the antenna gain setting.
Note:RF Overload LED does not operate for passive gain settings -6dB or 0dB).
4.BNC connector
Connect to a receiver or antenna combiner with RF inputs that supply 8-15V DC bias
Use the following guidelines when mounting antennas:
1.The signal transmission of this equipment has directivity，In the direction of the range to obtain a better transmission effect.
2.Mount antennas at least 1.5 meters apart,and placement the height more than 1.8meters.
3.Position antennas so there is nothing obstructing a line of sight to the transmitter (including the audience)
4.Keep antenna away from large metal objects.
5.The antennas will be affected by the weather and environment,the moist-ure and rain will affect the efficiency and safety of the BNC connector and
cable ,when used outside,please put the antenna in the dry place

This antenna paddle cannot be directly connected to the wireless microphone receiver,
The antenna paddle needs to be used with the antenna splitter

Being an owner of about 20 Shure ulxP combo mics I never considered going onto amazon and buying a brand other than the shure brands. After two of mine were stolen at a vegas event I decided to get these instead and I have not had any issues.

These were purchased as the Sennheiser ew100 G4 receivers were placed over 100' from the packs. The dropouts completely stopped once these were hooked up. The only drawback, though, is that they're super sensitive and if the body packs aren't in range, I get static from all kinds of sources (like computer monitors and LED lights). Highly recommend.
