The lanyard I previously used on our cruise did not have a retractable holder. That meant every time I needed to open the cabin door or get a drink, I had to take the seapass out of the holder and then put it back in. I was always concerned I’d drop it someplace. That’s why I got this set. The retractable holder is what really makes the lanyard useful for cruises. I put an old Royal Caribbean seapass in the holder (see photo) and it’s a perfect fit. Timing for this is great for our cruise in May. The lanyard itself is made of very soft material so it isn’t scratchy around my neck (especially since I will be wearing it with a bathing suit). The retractable cord appears to be sturdy enough to use over and over again (if I have problems with on our cruise I’ll come back and edit this review). Overall, I recommend this product and if you’re looking at prices - you’ll find it is very competitively priced.

They arrived quickly and worked fine for our 5 day cruise. No worries about them breaking and losing our sail cards. Were cute too.

Adequate for a single cruise but pretty cheaply made and I don’t think the extendable mechanism will hold up very well.

Perfect lanyards to use for cruising! I love the bright colors, soft material, and especially the retractable ability so you don’t have to take it off every time you need in your room or to use it. Great value - I plan on ordering more! The design is great, and protects your sea passes perfectly!

Used these lanyards on a cruise! They fit a credit card size ID. These are nice and thick, they are comfortable around your neck. I love the nautical themed designs, obviously perfect for our use case. I love the fact that they cards can spin on the lanyard - the rotation of the card is key to avoid frustration. We were easily able to open our cabin doors without removing the cards, and it was nice to have something recognizable when you hand your card to a waiter and he brings back your drink. Waterproof, durable, great value for the money. Would purchase again!
