These are very strong magnets and worked perfectly for holding my Fluke multimeter which frees up my hands to handle the probes while working on live equipment. Think about it...these could save your life!

They are about half the strength of the magnetic hangers that come with the FLUKE meters. My meter slides down any painted steel surface utilizing those $8.- straps. The inferior magnets are not fully enclosed in rubber, the remaining spaces fill up quickly with iron particles that cannot be easily cleaned out.Not a proper replacement for OEM instrument hangers.I would buy them again for $4.- a piece. In a mall in China you can likely get them for 50 cents.

I collect handheld DMMs, with more than 35 at the moment, ranging from expensive Flukes to cheap DT830s and everything in between. Several are used on a regular basis, in different locations and for different jobs -- buying the name brand hanger kits for them can get a little pricey for what amounts to a tiny bit of plastic, a nylon strap, and a magnet.This kit includes two straps with an adjustable buckle and velcro closure, with a magnetic "head" on one end to hang the meter from any magnetic surface. Any DMM case or holster with a slot at the top should be compatible with these. Now these are not the quick release style tabs that snap in/out of a Fluke meter (that's another kit that I also got), or Bryman's with their woefully undersized (IMO) hanger string, but they're velcro so it's not really that inconvenient to pull them apart and thread them through the slot to the desired length.The magnetic is plenty strong for all but the biggest & heaviest of meters.I find these to be a great value; it's not necessary to spend Fluke money for a simple hanger strap.

You know sooner or later in life there's going to come a time when you're going to Own Both a Clamp Meter and Multi Meter to fulfill your needs. Or like me a TexasBoy you're thinking redundancy and you would like just to have a spare one, well then this is the purchase for you.These magnetic meter straps work very well I believe with any multimeter that will accept them. The magnet is plenty strong. I own both modern and vintage meters that have the connection for a magnet strap and these hold up just as you would expect them to. Well that's it for this review. I'm sorry there's not much more to say about them they just do as advertised. I hope you found this information informative.Happy shopping!
