I used these only in polishing stage. So there would be no grit contamination. It picked up all the staining for rocks hitting rock surfaces. First run was great I was more than pleased. Second time around it was impossible to clean them and extremely messy.i cleaned them several times, did not help. Ruined two full tumblers of rocks wasting product and time. Threw them all out.

I'm ordering more because Im not good at paying attention to what cycle they come from. But they are reusable in the same stage of grit (or earlier) and last a while.
