I really appreciate these mounts. Space is at a premium in my setup and has to do double duty as a production workstation so making these as minimal as possible is a key factor for me. With about 10 minutes of enhancements, I was able to get the smallest footprint available for my Gladiator sticks while still maintaining a perfect and rock-solid movable mount.

Took a little while to put together but certainly rock solid. Recommended

They include plenty of hardware to make it easy to attach whatever HOTAS you have in whatever way you want. The materials and design seem solid. I can apply plenty of pressure to my stick and it stays put. I'm very happy with this. You could spend a lot more for a similar solution, but I doubt it could improve upon what you would get with this.

This is totally unassembled except for (in my case at least) the desk clamp assembly. It has plenty of attachments and options in the box and will probably mount any flight control out there Certainly the "serious" ones.Good adjustment on clamp*, holds firmly. I put a Thrustmaster Warthog Throttle (=Heavy!) on one and it didn't wiggle. Can be a little close to the upright at full throttle but seems to be just enough adjustment to get it out of the way. Rock solid so far. Probably will get another set for left handed joystick for space sims. Easier than switching the plates all the time.Assembly can be a bit tricky due to the sliding nuts used but once it's done you won't have to do it again. Others have mentioned that in their reviews. I didn't find it terribly difficult, but it will take you a little time to get it together. Not an out of box ready to go solution. So, why 4 stars... As you may notice in the one image there two Phillips head 6mm screws instead of the black allen head screws that come with it. That's because it was missing one and I couldn't get any parts without sending the entire unit back and exchanging it... for one screw. Off to the local hardware superstore for the closest thing I could find. They are metric and installed without a problem but no black. Changed both for uniformity.* Clamp potential "annoyance" is the button head screw circled in red will not slide past the desk mount. This eliminates a couple inches of adjustment and you will need to place the base above or below that mount. That may prove to be the most annoying part. You will have to tilt, tap, yell at, or beg that sliding nut into position to get that screw in. Or take the desk mount off and deal with all that. Easier to yell at the sliding nut. So your adjustment of the control is limited to above or below the position the desk mount ends up to clamp to your desk.Overall, seems a great product. Box was sealed but a bit banged up. All the plastic bags of screws inside had torn open. Nothing seems missing except for that one flat head screw. It was packed in a second box so if it somehow escaped the original package it was before it shipped. At least metric screws are much easier to get then they used to be. Sizes are listed in instructions. If anything changes I'll add to this review. Would I get it again? Yep... need to mount second joystick. Then I'll have spare parts. Maybe I'll get a spare black screw for the top plate!

TLDR, these are a great bang for your budget-friendly buck, with the tradeoff being patience to get through the tedious setup processPros:- cheaper than the other big names- STURDY AS HECK- ergonomic to take off and store away from desk without hassleCons:- TEDIOUS AS HECK TO SET UP- that's it.

I looked at several versions of this desk mount. Reviews of some of the others, including less expensive ones, mentioned 1) sharp edges on the ends of the rails with little or poor protection and 2) a clamp base that could bend after clamping to a desk. Images and reviews of this unit showed me that I would not face either issue with this one. Well worth the extra cost. The first and second image show the hardware that came in two plastic bags, from two different angles so you can see which have Allen heads and which have Phillips heads (note: you do not use any Phillips-head screws in assembling the mounts). In the first image, everything to the left of the yellow line was not needed. I did find I could use four of the screws and eight of the washers to mount my two Thrustmaster SimTask Farmsticks. I could also use two washers if I wanted to mount the MFD/Stream Deck brackets and prevent the mounting screws from protruding into the pad on the bottom side but I don’t need those brackets. The third image shows all the machined parts plus 8 rubber caps that protect you from the sharp ends of the rails. As can been seen at the right side of the image, the clamp mechanism had already been assembled to the body panel, as stated in red in the instructions. That saved me some time.I read some reviews of the various products that suggested they struggled with the assembly. I grew up with erector sets and my son loved LEGOs so putting things together comes fairly easy to me. I’ve included images 4, 5, and 6 whereas these might be the more challenging parts of the assembly but if you have any sense for how things fit together (or know someone who does) I suspect you will have no issues here.Full disclosure, I did mount one set of base rails pointing the wrong way but at 71 I’ll excuse myself the occasional loss of focus. Flipping it around was a nonevent.Images 7 and 8 simply show the plate brackets provided that fit my Thrustmaster joysticks. The included instructions actually show 12 different joystick models and indicate which holes in the plates to use for each model. Kudos to them for taking the time to provide that information to their customers.Image 9 is of the two MFD/Stream Deck brackets and what hardware I’d use to attach them but, as said, I don’t need them. The final image is of one of the mounting brackets clamped to my desk with a second one in the background on the floor. A new, bigger desk is arriving tomorrow. It will have a thicker top. That will require me to loosen four screws on each mount to adjust the clamps to the new thickness, which is an extremely simple procedure.Clamping to and removing from a desk is surprisingly easy. Sometimes using a lever to clamp an item in place requires excessive force but not here. In fact when I first did it I thought I had done something wrong and was sure the mount would be loose. It was not. The fit is very secure and yet requires only the slightest effort to lock the lever in place. Outstanding! The rubber end caps fit perfectly and provide the protection I desired. Life has taught me that my skin will find any sharp object in its vicinity. Having those superior end caps justify any price difference I paid. The mounts are excellent and strong. The machining is accurate and consistent. Everything fits as designed. I am confident that these mounts will outlive me. There were no missing parts and as stated I have a bunch of screws and wing nuts left over. You can never have too many screws or wing nuts.I do not hesitate to recommend these mounts to anyone who has a use for them. And this is coming from a man who is extremely demanding. Game on!

I was skeptical when i ordered it due to the price, but what came was extremely beefy and high quality. It does take quite a while to assemble and adjust, but I was able to get it exactly where I wanted and the clamp adjusted to have the perfect amount of pressure on my plastic folding table… too loose and it’d come off, too tight and it’d collapse the plastic, but just like Goldilocks I was able to get it just right!
