I have had other kits where the hoses fit well enough without clips and didn't leak so when I received this kit I tried it without the clamps. It leaked, but not horribly. I only needed one shop towel to clean it up. After I finished the job I cleaned everything up and went to work on the second one. This time I used the clamps and had no issues.

this is a simple bleeder kit. Fortnine uses cannula hose but this is pre cut and comes with clamps for added security. the hosing is otherwise identical and works fine for the intended purpose.
