wow... theses strings work really well...easy to tune,i bring the tension up and let set a few hours, then finish the tuning. these strings are great for vintage violins, less stress on the neck... they have a low tone but sound pretty good...

Decided to give these strings a try on a bright sounding violin. They sound pretty good. The e string sounded to bright for me so I changed it out for a wound e. You can also you a small tourte mute above the e string on the bridge if you have a violin that is loud and bright like mine. No problem putting these strings on and surprisingly these strings break in really quick. For the money I think these strings are a good deal. I'm pleased with them.
