Step 1
Open the refill,pull in box.
Step 2
Pull out a bit of film, push it through the center of the cartridge.
Step 3
Tie a knot at the bottom.
Step 4
Place the refill inside then push film to the bottom of the pail.

I love that these save money and you can reuse them on a dispensed cartridge. They are a little small and have cracked open the cartridge trying to get them on. I wish they would give a diagram or instructions how to insert them.

Photo: this product is the left item in the photos. The right is another generic brand. Notice the color of this product (left) is thinner and lighter in color. This product also does not fit as well as other generic refills into the reusable bag cartridge (the inner diameter is smaller than other generic products used).This product has split three times along the long axis and twice a hole developed while installing into the litter genie.

These refills are fantastic! I was worried the quality might be substandard, but not at all! They are durable and working out great! I am saving a lot of money with these knock-off refills!

Plastic breaks easy but for the price, it is worth it. I just have to be more careful with emptying it. I put it in a another bag as a precaution.

We have been looking for a less expensive option for refill packs for the litter genie. We found this and thought this would be great especially for the price. It is difficult to install the bag in the cartridge and material is noticeably thinner. The very first time we pulled the full bag out of the container and went to tie it the bag broke open. It was a mess. We decided to keep trying since there was still material in the cartridge. The next time we pulled the full bag, same thing it broke open. We are disappointed that this does not work.

I bought this thinking it was the same as the original ones for the genie liter pal I have and while yes they fit and function they DO NOT hold the oder down. I would not recommend nor buy again.
