These wire connectors are great since I don’t need to solder. I hate to solder, as I’m really REALLY bad at it. The wires fit in snugly, and the light fits right in. Oh, and you don’t have to just use them for COB lights. If you have a set of LED lights that are two-pin, these may also work - they did for me.Now I did find that the one issue was when using pliers to push the connector down that it’s best to do one side at a time. I tried both and while one went straight down, the other one buckled. I had a time straightening it out and then trying again. I’d suggest if this happens to you that you just get a second one out and use it.

worked as described. used with some closet lighting I put up. Let me extend the cob to the different shelves so I could have each one lit up. Easy to use and no soldering which is exactly what I was looking for.

I will be using these terminals as it is intended, for preparing sections cut from a long roll of COB LED lighting. Some of the terminals will end up splicing joins in the red and black power wire to miscellaneous DIY projects as well. The terminals make their electrical contacts the same as "Scotch-Locs" if you are familiar with those plastic joiners used in marine and automotive aftermarket installations. Metal blades are compressed with pliers to penetrate the insulation of wire or penetrate the pairs of copper pads on COB LED strips.Just my luck the first plastic terminal I chose wasn't accepting one of the divided strands of the red and black wire. Onc close examination, one of the metal blades was already most of the way pushed down into the channel where the wire goes. It was not easy to see that situation with the terminals being clear plastic and the metal a bright silver. With things inserted in both sides correctly it doesn't take much pressure to squeeze the blades all the way down. I used small household pliers with jaws wide enough to do both ends in one go. I cut the COB strip so that the full area of copper pads was at the end of the prepared strip. That means I lose a tiny length of the remaining roll to get to the pads for the next time I make a join, but it gives a full contact area inside the terminal.Searching online will come up with all kinds of illustrations on how these terminals are assembled. I thought the visuals on the product listing were a bit short of usefulness because they are frequently omitting images of the strip being cut right up to the edge of the copper pads.

These are a quick an easy way to wire up compatible LED strips. I used a few to add some under-cabinet lighting in my kitchen with no issues. However, they do feel a little unstable while squeezing them in my pliers, so I had to go pretty slow out of fear that the metal bits would fold over sideways. As far as value, it doesn't feel like there's a lot in the package for the price. To me, they seem comparable in complexity to a crimp connector for a phone or ethernet cord, and those are super cheap. On the other hand, the current price of $11.99 doesn't seem too excessive as a small-batch convenience product if I think of it as "how much pocket change per connector to avoid setting up my soldering station".As a renter who might hypothetically disassemble the lights and take them with me when I move, I was initially a little put off by the fact that these can't be disassembled and reused. But rationally, it isn't really worth worrying about trying to optimize away the tiny amount of waste that would result from snipping these off and discarding them as part of a move.

Worked perfect for connecting my tread lights on my stairs. Very easy to use, just slip in your wire on one side, your led tape on the other and squeeze the pins in with a pair of pliers.

These work but I'm not in love with them. They do let you get two wire COB LED strips around corners and such which is nice. But even after you crimp them they still leave metal exposed that could short or give you a mild shock. Some of my COBs are 24v and several amps! Definitely not a good idea to use these in a damp environment like a bathroom.I had expected ones similar to what came in my COB kit but the ones from the kit were better because you flip down a little door over the whole connection to lock it in and it prevents you from shorting the contacts.

These are pretty straightforward to use, but make sure you know what you're doing before you start installing these things. And by knowing, I mean you can just watch a single Youtube video or two on it and call it a day. With that said, everything's included in the bags, the wire looks like it's the right length and the ease all work is intended. They really are just wires and connectors. It's hard to mess them up.

If youre wiring up some COB lights and find that there is no clean way to get them around a corner cleanly then you can cut the COB strip and splice these wires in to bend around the curve. Or if you just simply need to created an extended section of light then you can make the wires as long as you need. This is a nice simple to use connector set.

These are handy to have if you’re setting up LED light strips and need to make cuts to work inside corners or transform the clipped ends to power attachments. Make sure all pieces are fully inserted and lined up for both sides, and then gently but firmly use a pair of regular pliers to squeeze the metal clamp prongs down to sandwich the wires and make a solid connection. It’s gets easier after doing it a couple times.

I recently had the chance to test out these COB LED connectors and found them to be a mixed bag. On the plus side, they are incredibly easy to use. You just slide your wire into one end, place the LED tape on the other, and crimp it with pliers. The process is straightforward and doesn't require any special skills or tools, which is great for DIY projects. However, there are a few drawbacks that kept me from giving them a higher rating. For starters, even after crimping, some metal remains exposed, which could potentially cause shorts or mild shocks, especially in damp environments. This is a significant safety concern, and I wouldn't recommend using these connectors in bathrooms or other wet areas. Additionally, they are not reusable, so once you crimp them, that's it—no going back if you need to make changes later.Overall, these connectors get the job done and are convenient for quick installs, but the exposed metal and lack of reusability are notable downsides.

Exactly what I needed to do my indoor stair lights. Having 12 steps at 36” in length that I wanted to put LED lighting on I needed a way to connect my COB light strips together. These connectors were the answer. Not only are they easy to use but they allowed me to cut and piece together a long light strip into 36” lenghts, one for each step. This connection kit comes with a coil of wire which let me run each step in parallel to my power source. The perfect solution for a DIY type of person.

The Komigan connectors are an easy way to extend or route COB LED lighting strips around tight bends. Simply cut the included wires to length, insert in the correct orientation, slip in light strips and clamp down. The metal contacts complete the circuit and that’s all there is to it, no need for soldering. The kit is DIY friendly and is a good value. Quality is also very good but note that these are meant for one time use only.

I got these 2-pin 8 mm COB LED strip connectors from Komigan. I do a bit of work with COB strips. Some times I solder them but most of the time I take the lazy way. These are a style I haven't used before. Most I use have a press-clip lid that can be removed to disconnect the cables. These have more of a spikey metal piece that squeezed into the solder pads on the lights--and is more of a one-way trip. These do the job. They aren't my favorite style but I thought I'd try them out. They do the job.
