Haven't used any of these yet but put some in both cars for emergency. They are large enough to get the job done and they have zip closure until it can be disposed of.

While traveling with family there have been a few times where we could not wait to make it to a bathroom facility or a private place along the side of the road to urinate (and unexpected road construction / traffic jams). Obviously there are other times it might come in handy as well (i.e., camping, hiking etc.).I saw this item on Amazon and thought it might come in handy to carry in each of our vehicles for emergency use. When the item arrived there were 20 pouches (5 packages with 4 pouches in each). Each pouch holds up to 700 ml of fluid and has a tailored opening for use by either male/female by reversing the direction. Each pouch has basic instructions imprinted on them. There is an absorbant pad inside of each pouch.I tested out one of the pouches on a full bladder. I was able to complete this mission with no problems. The absorbant pad soaked up much, but not all of the fluid. I was able to seal the zip-loc opening on the pouch and it had no leaks. The bag appeared fairly durable but if you are traveling and have to haul it any distance for disposal be careful not to throw it around or put weight on it where it could rupture or burst the zip-loc open. With that in mind, the pouch did what it needed to do.For most guys I think use of the pouch can work fairly easy and discretely while seated in a car. For most females (even with the contoured opening and finger/thumb slots for better holding and spreading of the pouch openening) it would probably be a bit more challenging in a seated position inside a car. I ran this issue past my wife for her take on things. She agreed but added that in an emergency situation she would try to position herself "inside" the car while using it if doing so outside the car was not an option. She thought that the contoured opening and finger/thumb slots were definately a positive feature for women to use the pouch.

When you're out on the road there are times when you really need to go, but can't just pull over and go on the side of the road.While it does take a little practice, guys can use this while sitting down, but be aware that you should push the strip down as a little splatter will occur......yup learned the hard way.These do hold quite a bit making them ideal for when you REALLY need to go. I make sure to keep a few of these on hand since there isn't a lot of places where I can just pull into and go.

I carry these with me in my car also along in my truck when I’m driving across country. There are times where I may have to use the bathroom and I’m not always able to stop at a rest. Stop to get to the toilet. This is very easy to use, discreet and clean. I have not found that if I use it it’s not spilling everywhere and this contains your waste. You can dispose of it easily and if you have to keep it in your car until you reach a trashcan, you don’t have to worry about any spill everywhere.

It does NOT gel the volume of liquid it claims to gel (loses 1 star from me). Other than that, the seal is totally leak-proof and odor-proof. This is an essential glove compartment companion!

These portable pee containers are a lifesaver when you're stuck somewhere and can't find a public restroom.I've used these on camping trips and road trips. They're especially good for car camping when you don't want to leave the warm of your car to trek out to a bathroom in the dark.The shape of the bag makes it easy for women to use. The handle on the side helps you keep the bag stable while using it. There is an absorbent sheet that soaks up the urine and solidifies it inside the bag. Once you're finished peeing, you can zip up bag to prevent any leakage. Easy to dispose.I highly recommend keeping a few of these in your car and maybe one in your purse. Very lightweight and easy to carry around discreetly. You never know when you'll need it.
