Buy these only for the brackets. Chuck the screws in the trash. They’re cheap and easily strip.

Easiest and quickest way to build a 2x4 fence rail. The quality of these brackets is very good. The pre-drilled holes allow the 2x4 stud to be held firmly in place. The included screws are the fail here as they easily strip out, even when holes are pre-drilled. If you do manage to drive a screw in, you'll likely never be able to remove it. Use the brackets and do yourself a favor and lose the included screws.
