These are listed wrong. They're not tightening knitting needles. They're not for crocheting. They are for basting knitting together. That being said they are good quality. They're smooth and don't snag my yarn. In terms of weight they're small so they have no weight. And they do what they're supposed to which is hold my sweaters or other objects together while I finish them

These are a bit longer and thicker than the typical sewing pin. They’re better at keeping pieces attached for sewing larger crochet projects/plushies.Unfortunately one of them came detached but I should be able to super glue it together, but it makes me concerned that one might detach and fall in to my plushie without me noticing in the future.I wouldn’t use these for if you’re using baby or lightweight yarn since the gap they leave later on might be too visible. Seems to work fine for super bulky chenille yarn since you can kind of fluff it back up.

9/11/24 these knitting pins are so handy for crocheters to keep the small pieces in place while sewing! The quality feels good and it’s very easy to use. Not recommended for smaller size yarn crochet pieces though, as these will create a hole in your work (hopefully that’s common sense).

Really good item and works well when making origurumi and a good price - however, it's coming from China so bank on 4 to 6 weeks minimum to receive it. Would have been 5 stars without the shipping issue.

I make a lot of amigurumi, small crocheted toys, and normally I'd use pins or yarn needles to hold pieces in place while I sew them on. With these wooden pins it makes it easier, they can either be inserted just into the 2 pieces or all the way up to the pin head. The pieces don't move or the pin working it's way into the piece. I'll probably buy another set, well worth the money.

As a daily knitter, I use these a lot. Perfect as straight pins when joining knit/crocheted items (completely smooth, so no snags), AND they're great stitch holders for small cables! Bought a second package to make knit Christmas tree ornaments that, in previous years, I had knit on toothpicks (see pics). These will be easier and look SO much better.
