First, I am happy after a short initial use. It works well. More use soon to come. Now, a few comments. There is nothing automatic about the cylinder return as the ad states. You have to move the control lever to retract mode. The reinforced return hose under the unit is extremely hard to put on. Over all, it took 3 hours to assemble. I am an engineer and mechanic so I know how to put stuff together. But, as I said, so far I am very happy with the unit.

The splitter pros: fast, lots of power, strong engine, easy to move around. In 15 minutes I split a bunch of wood! wood is soft but splits great!And I love how the hydraulic system is built to last—it's very durable and efficient, even after extended use.
